This radiator is built around a high-density 36mm Hyper Core that features NFLO technology. NFL technology boosts cooling efficiency in a slim profile, maximizing performance without taking up space. Koyorad engineers developed a brand new internal partition design that improves cooling for the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ, while also being compatible with the first-generation Subaru BRZ, Toyota 86, and Scion FR-S. This new design is a 44% increase in thickness over the OEM second-generation vehicles. and 125% increase over the OEM first-generation vehicles. Within the construction of the radiator, there are strategically placed thermal reliefs to allow proper core flex under heat cycling. These reliefs also resist warping under extreme use to ensure performance doesn’t fade regardless of conditions.
